All cats are given the opportunity to enjoy one of our three playrooms, to make themselves comfortable in the office, or to explore the nooks and crannies of our kennel areas.
- Our playrooms include:
- The Den complete with an overstuffed chair, bookshelves, a soft glowing lamp and a window perch.
- The Patio is a larger room with a picture window overlooking the busy San Pablo Avenue. This room is great for those confident cats who love people or car watching and who appreciate the passersby who stop to view the darling cats through the front window. We don't know who has more fun, the people or the cats. We hope the cats!
- The Van Gogh Sitting Room is named for the sunny yellow wall color and the print of Starry Starry night that adorns the wall. This room gets a great deal of sun and has a window sill that is the perfect size for basking. It also contains a small dresser with one drawer convieniently removed to offer the perfect cat size sleeping arrangement.
- Features
- Each playroom has a cat tree or scratching post.
- We offer a variety of toys for self-motivated play or interactive play with staff or volunteers.
- Older cats enjoy frequent lap time. They can relax as we read to them or give them a gentle brushing.
- We do not offer grooming. We want the cats to enjoy their stay.
